The design of the house was conceptualized as a cluster of spaces, creating a variety of spatialhierarchies from private, semi-private and public. As a resulted of this, a series of courtyards atvarious levels were formed. The public spaces meander through the courtyards connecting theinterior of the house to the exterior.
The stairs act as sculptural connective tissues between the two levels of the house and areimagined as slow stairs where one can experience the garden features that surround them. Thehouse is designed as an inward-looking house, enclosed in a screen on the outside andpunctuated by a range of skylights and light courts.
